It’s cold outside but bright, making me think about longer warmer days to look forward to. I have enjoyed doing this out of season watercolour of Lavender flowers, they are such elegant flowers and delightful to paint into an arrangement that reflects their delicate nature.
I have also just finished an oil painting using a Tudric Arts and Crafts Jug that I have been wanting to incorporate into a still life for a while. I liked the colour palette of bright yellows and green against the bluish pewter patina.
